Touch Up Is A Must
Looks like I'll be in for a touchup session. Found a little spot. Oh well an excuse for me to get another tattoo if you ask me haha!
Tron Makes The Matrix Look Like A Retarded Relative
The Matrix is child's play compared to Tron. Tron makes sense while The Matrix is a riddle within a riddle within a riddle. Only problem with that is that the Matrix's riddles were more retarded than the movie and its heavy religious undertone...

Fresh Ink...
Its been about a year since my last ink session. Thats quite a long gap. This tattoo is one that has personal meaning to me. "Noho Me Ka Hau Oli" is Hawaiian for "Be Happy" something that I struggle to be. I dwell off being depressed, sad, and angry all the time I have to have a reminder to myself that I should just calm down and be happy!

An Addiction To Tattoos
My next tatt...be permanently inked on this coming Friday (14th)...the phrase is Hawaiian for "Be Happy"...its a reminder to myself to just remember the happy moments i've experienced when Im at a low point. Hawai'i means that to me. My Hawaiian friends think Im posing. BUT in reality its not as shallow as they would like to think. Hawai'i means more to me than it does to them. To them its home its a familiar place, a place easily accessible to them. For me its a paradise I got to experience briefly and have been longing for ever since. Its a place that I cant touch ever again...its my paradise that only lives in my memories...so don't easily label me as a poser. I was made in Hawai'i...

Painting without Thinking
I live by the philosophy that artist Feng Zhu teaches. He believes you should NOT think so much when creating/painting. I agree with that. My best illustrations come from when im doodling on a napkin or notepad. Not reallying having a set idea of what im creating. Just allowing my mind to be free from the mindless ramblings that go through my head every single day. Its a good exercise to clear your mind also. But now I've incorporated that thinking in my paintings.
If someone were to ask me to commission a painting of a specific theme, I'll do it BUT it probably wont look as good as if I just created something with no set guidelines or rules.
This painting here is spray paint and acrylics. I mixed two different applications to achieve this piece. I wasn't thinking about which application to use. I just started off with spray paint and it evolved subconsciously into the final product...art is funny, art is beautiful that way...

When I hate myself, I hurt myself...
On a personal note this image is what NOT to do when you are angry with yourself. Self inflicted wound to the head via Ukulele. Impulse...thats all I can say. Now not only do I have about a 2"long gash on my head my beloved and cherished Ukulele is dead! I killed her. I destroyed her into a dozen pieces all because of...impulse! SMH
First Commission Piece Completed!
Well this is my 18x24 interpretation of Tim Gagnon's piece. I originally did a smaller piece BUT was asked to do an 18x24 piece. Came out ok. I still have a lot to learn about acrylic painting...

Inspiring...
Whenever I get down on myself about my art. I'll look at this image and think how difficult a time this guy has in bringing his art to life BUT he still does it!
Painting on Canvas with a Brush
I haven't painted using a brush in God knows how long. When i started getting back into painting and doing space art its always been with stencils and other tools. So this was a great little simple piece to do to get my confidence up and get accustomed to painting using brushes again...good times.
This piece is actually my interpretation of one of artist Tim Gagnon's lesson paintings. Go to his site www.timgagnon.com register and take one of his online classes.
I just watch his time lapse vids on youtube and try to learn by those...I am to cheap to pay for lessons haha.

Splatter Fun
Feels good just to dip your hand in a bucket of paint and just splatter it all over canvas...I don't know what direction I'm going to take this piece BUT it was fun just getting messy!
Fun with 8x10" Canvas
Had a little fun with some 8x10" canvas'. You know your art doesn't have to be perfect. Doesn't have to stunning. All that matters is that you believe in your work and you keep creating. Art is your own religion in a sense. You create what you believe and people may enjoy it and follow your work or they may not. Its keep doing it...believe in yourself!

Found My First Inking Attempt
This was done over 17 yrs ago when i was only 15 yrs old. Never attempted it again after that. Inking aint easy for sure! I've gotten the privilege and honor to watch Scott Williams ink when I was a kid. He never let anyone watch him ink. After attempting to ink it gave me a new respect for inkers...they arent just tracers. It takes alot of skill to ink...
